Lauren Pitt Sonography

Lauren Pitt, founder of Lauren Pitt Sonography, is a diagnostic medical sonographer dedicated to providing exceptional ultrasound service. She began her medical imaging career in 2009 at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) and specialized in Ultrasound in 2012.

After two years of training at esteemed hospitals in Cape Town, including the renowned Obstetric and Gynaecology Ultrasound Unit at Tygerberg Hospital, Lauren earned her B-Tech degree in Ultrasound.

Lauren completed her community service at Worcester Hospital in 2014 and continued working there until December 2024. During this time, she performed ultrasounds for the obstetric high-risk clinic, among other diagnostic ultrasounds, delivering critical ultrasound services to expectant mothers. 

​

Lauren is accredited by the Fetal Medicine Foundation in London, enabling her to provide accurate first-trimester screenings for expectant mothers. By utilizing advanced screening software, she ensures reliable reporting of ultrasound findings.
